Singer, songwriter and musician, John Miller, was born and raised Tampa, Florida, where he developed a deep appreciation for rootsy, R&B, southern rock and country music. After learning to play guitar at age 14, it wasn’t long before he was playing along with some of his favorite acoustic tunes by the Tom Petty, The Eagles, John Cougar Mellencamp, Alan Jackson, and Garth Brooks. John began penning his own music in college and has worked hard to develop the craft over the past few years, becoming an active member of the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) and writing as much as possible with other incredibly talented writers and musicians. Several of his songs have landed in the NSAI quarterly Top 40 and “Ones to Watch” list. John has become a regular perfomer in the Nashville scene, consistently playing venues such as The Blue Bird Cafe and The Listening Room. John has also taken the stage at CMA Fest and performed at the Key West Songwriter's Festival. John is now writing full time in Nashville, Tennessee. He recently released his first single, Whiskey Business, which finished 2nd on the NSAI Top 40 and has generated a great buzz in Music City.
